Unanimously voted the best kickball ditty to date:

Tonight the Car Bombers face the Shockers...
A team with tall guys and some girls with big knockers.

The spring came and went and the Shockers were relieved
As it meant this season they got a Kicker Bee reprieve.

But now we're all back on a new turf and town.
And with a new color and name we'll lay the smack down.

We'll prove to the Shockers whether Bombers or Bees
This team this team will have the most fun...
One Hundred and ten percent guaranteed.

With that said I would like to note...the Car Bombers, aka Kicker Bee's *heart* the Shockers and are tres glad they finally get to face off against one another!

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

There will be a practice at the Gaithersburg Middle School Kickball Fields on MONDAY JULY 31ST @ 630pm.

Please plan to attend. This practice is ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT to those of you who are new to Kickball.

We'll be going over some basics as well as smoothing out some fielding; such as watching the base path and thinking where the ball should be thrown, sometimes throwing to first isn't the best bet.

"Those People from Up North" make their MD Fire debut!

After warming up and dowsing themselves in bugspray the Car Bombers kicked off their MD Fire Division start this past Tuesday night. The 'Bombers faced off against one of the more established teams in the Fire Division, Ballin for Beer.

Ballin for Beer took advantage of a couple mistakes made by the Bombers and took a 2 run lead early in the game. But the Bombers came back and answered with their own run. But Ballin for Beer racked up another run and the Bombers were unable to comeback. The Car Bombers lose to Ballin for Beer 3-1.

But alas, my faithful Car Bomb crusaders...do not be disheartened at this loss because the Car Bomber's Gaithersburg Alter Ego, the Kicker Bees, also lost their very first game, and we all know how the rest of the season went.

Once the greenhorn Bombers get a grasp of the rules, and the veteran 'Bombers smooth out some fielding issues, WATCHOUT MD FIRE because the Car Bomber's are gonna IG-NITE!

And a shoutout to one Sexy Bitch Nickols and Wu Tang for an oh so awesome play to third resulting in a Ballin for Beer out. Also a pat on the back to the Dragon for playing back up dancer to Robin as the ball bounced off her, and right into the firey palms of the Dragon!

The address is 9300 Wadsworth Drive, Bethesda MD (Wyngate Elementary School)

From the North:
Take I-270 South
Take the Democracy Blvd Exit
Turn left at Democracy Blvd go .5mi
Turn right at Fernwood Road go .9mi
Turn left at Marywood Road go .2 mil
Turn right at Kirkdale Road
Turn left at Wilmett Road
Turn left at Wadsworth Drive

From the South:
Use whatever means you normally would to get to the Beltway
Take MD-187 exit 36 Bethesda/Rockville
Take ramp to Bethesda
Bear right at Old Georgetown Road
Turn right at Beech Ave
Bear right at Wilmett Road
Turn right at Wadsworth Drive

Ref Clinic & Scrimmage

REMEMBER! There will be a ref clinic at 630pm this Tuesday (July 18th) at the fields. Immediately following the clinic (around 7pm) there will be a scrimmage game.

Please let Roger know if you plan to attend the ref clinic.

NEW PLAYERS: Even if you don't want to be a ref it may be a good idea to attend the clinic to get a crash course in the rules.


If you are not attending the ref clinic please plan to be at the scrimmage game.

Get your Car Bombers Kickball Gear!

I've added a bunch of coolio stuff to the cafepress gear, from shirts to aprons to baby onesies and dog shirts its all there. There are different combinations of the logo on the front and back as well as the tag line "Kickball's Official Pint Team." Should you want a different arrangement just let me know and I can rework it!

Moonlighting!

Those stinging and wing dingin' Gaithersburg Kicker Bees will be moonlighting this Spring/Fall as the "Car Bombers" in the Bethesda Fire Division!
